A new release from the four-wind ensemble REZOUND captures the energy of first encounters, spontaneous composition, and fearless improvisation.

Recorded in just two and a half hours, the album brings together the ensemble with acclaimed Australian saxophonist Julien Wilson for a session built entirely on instinct, listening, and immediate musical trust. Remarkably, the recording session also marked the first meeting between Wilson and Greg Ambroisine — a collaboration that unfolded in real time and became the foundation of the album’s raw and deeply conversational sound.

Rather than polishing away the edges, the recording embraces the immediacy of the moment: shifting textures, open spaces, and the intensity of four wind voices interacting with Wilson’s distinctive saxophone language. The result is music that feels alive, searching, and unrepeatable.
